Biodegradable Pots

Why use biodegradable pots? They help protect your seedlings from transplant shock, add organic nutrients to the soil as they decompose, and keep plastic out of the landfill. Also: did you know there is such a glut of black plastic on the recycling market that some areas (like here in Vermont) won't even collect them for recycling anymore? The solution is to select a product that doesn't feed that single-use cycle we often see with flimsy plastic seed starting materials.
