We have a thing for pollinators, so we designed this sweet garden for them to call their own. Actually, we came up with three gardens — each with a comprehensive plant list and planting diagram to take any guesswork out of it. We also included a bevy of tips to quickly make your garden a hive of activity, and keep these miraculous visitors healthy and safe all season long.
Keeping soil, plants, and pollinators flourishing is serious stuff, so we also made a point of using the same untreated, ecologically-sound wood we use in all our Vermont-made raised garden beds. Easy to assemble too: simply insert each cedar board into a slot on our rust-proof, industrial strength Lifetime aluminum corners, fasten with screws, and you're ready to plant!
When your garden arrives, choose one of our plans — Bee Garden, Butterfly Garden, or Hummingbird Garden — or plant it up with your own combination of plants. Add more beds to create a wonderful honeycomb pattern as you expand your pollinator habitat.
For best results, we recommend filling with 7 bags of our premium potting mixes:
- Cedar, Powder-coated aluminum corners
- 48" W x 7.25" H overall
- Each side is 24" L
- Planting depth: 7.25"
- Soil capacity: 134 quarts (4.5 cubic feet) of soil
- Weight: 20 lbs.
- Assembly required
