- Pre-assembled lid shortens assembly time
- Foam process adds extra insulation value and sealing strips restrict cold air movement and temperature loss
Start growing in late winter and wrap up your final harvest in late fall. Both the base and the cold frame have thermal properties that can help capture maintain enough extra warmth to start and sustain growth longer than normal. Base blocks are Nordic weathered grey in color and UV protected for long lasting beauty. The blocks interlock and snap together to provide more than 7 square feet of growing space. The cold frame is entirely enclosed within twin-walled panels that restrict temperature flow enough to create a warm interior that is conducive to an early start of the growing season.
A unique feature of the Kombi is its dual function for growing. While many will use the base and cold frame together for its raised gardening height, you may separate the two once your starts have matured, and start a second growing area.
