You don’t need a ton of space to grow a generous harvest! Our customer-favorite 2' x 4' Elevated Planter Box provides a bountiful 8 square feet of growing space and still fits comfortably along the edge of your deck or patio. At 29" high, it's also the perfect height for no-bend gardening, so you can grow and tend more comfortably. With a 10" planting depth, you can grow generous harvests of veggies, fruits, flowers, and herbs!
Like our other Vermont-made raised beds, the rot-resistant cedar sides are held in place with our rust-resistant, industrial-strength Lifetime aluminum corners. The slatted base allows excess water to drain through.
For best results, we recommend filling with 9 bags (180 quarts) of one of our premium potting mixes:
- Cedar, Powder-coated aluminum corners
- 48" L x 24" W x 29" H
- Planting depth: 10"
- Soil capacity: 170 quarts (6 cubic feet) of potting mix
- Note: Planter boxes cannot hold regular garden soil, topsoil, sand, clay, or rocks. Please use potting mix only.
- Assembly required
