While the size can feel daunting, 3-bin systems are truly one of the easiest ways to compost. And the Demeter 3-Bin Composter makes it easier, more effective — and better looking! The clean aesthetic and powder-coated steel construction perfectly combine durability and style.
Hinged full-size doors and lids open wide to allow easy access for adding scraps, moving and aerating batches, and harvesting nutrient-rich finished compost. Wire-grid lids and dividers ensure optimal water and air flow, and allow movement of beneficial organisms between bins, creating ideal conditions for your greens and browns to break right down. Available Extensions let you tack on additional bins, so you’ll never outgrow this system!
The beauty of 3-bin composting is that you can continually add fresh kitchen scraps to the first bin while simultaneously pulling finished compost from the third bin. It means less waiting, less hassle, and more capacity to create garden-boosting black gold! Check out our multi-bin composting article for a comprehensive breakdown of the process and benefits.
