Description
- Perforated steel lets you easily bend to your desired shape
- Grow successfully on slopes and hillsides
- Weathers to an attractive & protective rust patina
This simple but innovative planter makes it easier than ever to grow on a slope. Acting as a mini-terrace, our Corten Steel Hillside Planters create a sturdy and durable berm that prevents soil erosion and helps to slow and sink water, allowing you to fill your slope with flowers, shrubs, or even trees without fear that they will wash away down the hill. Use several to stagger your plantings and prevent more runoff. Not only will it add beauty to your landscape, the established plants’ roots can add stability to your hillside. The Corten steel arrives flat, in its natural gray state. Folding along the perforations in the steel, you can adjust the planter to the shape that works best for your slope. Over time, the material will develop a distinctive patina of rust that protects the base metal from corrosion. The pointed design allows for easy installation. Simply insert into the ground, then gently pound with a rubber mallet to the desired depth.
