Director of Inventory Management
The Director of Inventory Management leads all inventory management functions, including product forecasting, materials planning and parts of supply chain management for Gardener’s Supply Company direct to consumer business. By effectively using the enterprise resource planning system and inventory forecast and materials planning system, this person will lead the Inventory Team to achieve a high level of customer order fill rate while delivering inventory ownership and turn rate objectives. Product Engineering Manager
The Product Engineering Manager will be responsible for a wide range of engineering activities including new product development, maintaining existing products, and R&D. The Product Engineering Manager will work with outsourced and supplier manufacturing and engineering resources. They will work with Product Management to ensure alignment on technical specifications. Responsibilities include finalizing detailed technical specifications, overseeing prototype creation, and coordinating product testing for quality assurance. Analyzing and optimizing product designs for functionality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability are essential aspects of the role. Engaging with third-party manufacturers and ensuring regulatory compliance are critical components. The position also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives in the entire new product development process.
